Vietnam week 6

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is doing well and is loving life. My life is great. I am still alive after a huge storm this week.

So last week, We had District P-day. It is a day ( more like a couple of hours) where you "bond" with your district. We went bowling and then ate food. We also did some shopping! It was great! I was totally the worst bowler out of everyone. haha life is great.

Also this week we had a Zone Conference. It was good! We learned a lot about repentance, and the importance of the Book of Mormon especially here in Vietnam. It was good and I learned so much! We also got to eat American food kinda... McDonalds! It was good to have a burger and eat something like America.

This week has also been raining like crazy. One Thursday we had a big storm and it turned the power out for like 2 hours. Good thing we were at the church. The Church had no power either, so we had our meeting in the dark in the common area. It was fun. and hoottt.

One of the investigators we have been teaching , named Chi Phuc, also got Engaged this week. Her boyfriend is from Canada and came to Vietnam to get engaged. Seems pretty cool. I have yet to meet the guy. haha​

This week was very busy with lots of meetings and having to go to different places. We taught some lessons and it was fun. We taught a lesson to a recent convert who wanted to learn more about the bible stories. So we got to read some bible stories about Jesus in ENGLISH. It was good. I finally understood!

December 10, 2017 Xin Chào Everyone, Hope everyone's week was great. My week was very busy with lessons and meetings, just the usual. One thing that happened last week that no one may care about, but we spent 1.5 million Đông on food last week. That is really expensive compared to my last companion. haha. Many great things happend this week: So usually in the week, we don't ride our bikes often. We are blessed to be in an area where everything is very close, but this week we got the opportunity to take a bike ride to a different District to go visit someone. The bike ride was almost 2 hours but it was totally worth meeting with this sister. She is a sister of one of the Missionaries here serving in our mission. Her name is Chị Quyên. She is really nice and really wants to learn more about the gospel because she has seen the change it has made in her sister's life. October 8, 2017 This week we had a ton of rain. It kept flooding the streets so it was fun to play in. haha. This week was kinda slow. We taught a lot of recent convert lessons. It's great to teach those lessons because they know the gospel and it's more like them teaching us.  Haha. This week we taught Ba Oanh again. Christ is the Reason

December 24, 2017 Merry Christmas! --- Chúc mọi người giáng sinh vui vẻ! Hope every one's Christmas is filled with great joy. I don't have a lot of time to write a long email, but hope everyone has a great holiday!! This week was filled with many miracles. This week we got 4 new investigators. 2 were referrals from a member and then 2 were from English class. We have been very blessed to have to opportunity to teach these people. This week we were reminded of the true meaning of Christmas as we got to participate in a Branch nativity. It was a neat experience to hear of the Savior's birth while doing something together as a branch. The savior was born for us to fulfill God's plan. I hope you enjoy the Christmas holiday and were able to do the 25 days of Christmas! I know that me and my companions have been trying to do it and it's been a blessing. Merry Christmas!
